Immediate suspension of service

Committd+ has been placed on immediate hold following the initiation of a due diligence review into platform access patterns and regulatory compliance.

Background

Our monitoring systems have identified a significant volume of traffic originating from VPN services and proxy networks. This type of obfuscated access undermines the platform's ability to fulfill its obligations under applicable EU legislation, including:

  • EU Digital Services Act (Regulation (EU) 2022/2065) — which imposes due diligence and age verification obligations on platforms hosting adult content;
  • EU Directive 2011/93/EU — on combating the sexual abuse and sexual exploitation of children;
  • EU Anti-Trafficking Directive (2011/36/EU) — which addresses the prevention and combating of trafficking in human beings.

The circumvention of location-based and identity-verification safeguards — whether intentional or not — places the platform in a position where it cannot guarantee compliance with these statutory requirements.

Regulatory engagement

This activity has drawn scrutiny from EU regulatory and law enforcement authorities. We are fully cooperating with their enquiries and are committed to operating within the bounds of the law.

Notice to VPN and proxy users

If you have been accessing this service through a VPN, proxy, or any other means of obfuscating your network identity, be advised that:

  1. Doing so imposes additional regulatory requirements on services like ours.
  2. It may constitute a circumvention of safeguards designed to protect minors and prevent exploitation.
  3. We strongly recommend you discontinue doing so immediately.

Restoration of service

We are actively implementing measures to detect and block VPN and proxy access. This service will remain unavailable until we are satisfied that it complies with all relevant regulatory requirements.
